On Monday, February 24, it will be 3 years since russia launched its full-scale war against Ukraine. A war in which russia follows no rules – murdering, raping, and looting. A war in which Ukraine bears the heaviest losses. A war in which Ukrainian soldiers and the entire Ukrainian society are paying the highest price.
More and more people are forgetting – faster and more willingly. We remember. We know that we wake up safely in our homes every morning because Ukraine is still fighting and protecting us from russia. We know that Ukraine defends all of Europe from russia – even those who don’t understand or appreciate that fight. What’s more, we know that Ukraine even defends those who are against it – including some Polish politicians who play the anti-Ukrainian card in their election campaigns. Even them.
February 24 is the day we remind the world.
February 24 is the day we say: Thank you, Ukraine!
We will gather on Monday, February 24, at 6:00 PM in front of the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland. From there, we will march to the Polish Parliament.
Be with us on that day! — “Thank you, Ukraine!”
Make posters, invite your friends, and come. There must be many of us!
